Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has put his two cents in on the news that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are getting divorced.
"Watch Katie Holmes Scientology story. Something creepy, maybe even evil, about these people," Murdoch, the chairman and chief executive of News Corp. tweeted Sunday morning.
Murdoch's tweet followed Friday's news that Holmes had filed for divorce from Cruise after five years of marriage.

While Cruise often associated with Viacom's Paramount Pictures, he has done movies for Murdoch's 20th Century Fox in the past, most recently the romance/action film"Knight and Day" in 2010. Cruise is known for being prickly about being challenged about his involvement with Scientology.
Murdoch is not the first mogul to question Cruise's personal life choices. Viacom Chairman Sumner Redstone briefly cut ties to Cruise in 2006 after the actor got into a spat with "Today" host Matt Lauer over prescription medication and post-partum depression. The two have since made their peace and Cruise again is starring i n movies for Paramount, notably the "Mission: Impossible" series of action films.
Asked on Twitter by a follower what he thought about Mormons, Murdoch responded, "Mormonism a mystery to me, but Mormons certainly not evil."
Murdoch apparently is getting some backlash on Twitter. He subsequently tweeted, "since Scientology tweet hundreds of attacks. Expect they will increase and get worse and maybe threatening. Still stick to my story."
